I designed the pieces in the Circus series to echo the excitement and color of the Big Top. I pierce sterling silver sheets with stars, hoops, rings, and drums and fuse several layers together. Then I forge them into drums for clowns and platforms for\
tigers. Next I insert tubes of brilliant anodized colored metal and attach the pieces to handmade sterling silver links and chains.
The bright colors used in the necklace and bracelet are red, yellow, green, blue and violet. I always start with the center square star bead when arranging the colors and than balance the rest. Call or send me an E mail if you want to pick that first color. |
