sunsplash I learned to surf when I was 17. It took a lot of time and patience to master the subtleties of jockeying a 10 foot board but by the end of the summer of 62, I was hooked. I loved flying through tubes of plunging water, the year-round sun, the rose dawns and the fiery sunsets. Living now by the chill ocean of San Francisco, I don't surf much anymore, but I still remember how it felt and I designed the Sunsplash series in commemoration of those golden days of riding waves.

The round spheres found everywhere on the surfaces, the spacer beads, and the ball chains make this sterling silver series reflect light and sparkle like the moon above the ocean. Gold filled beads for a warmer look are available on several of these pieces.
